Can something be done about spawn times on server #2 ? 90% of the time spawn is longer than 20s, and makes maps like badlands pointless, since you cant respawn fast enough to defend points :x

SpA servers don't have normal respawn times, but quicker ones :/
but 20+ seconds happens on vanilla servers o:

Wait for a techie to fix/reboot it I guess~

Could just be the change valve made to the game on some maps... IF your attacking on last point granary you respawn faster than the defenders on the last point etc...

Maybe you just been defending last points to often :)

It always depends on the map and the situation, for example how many caps do u have and how many caps does the enemy team have. For example defending C on gravelpit while A and B are capped, u will get over 20 seconds for sure as defender, while the attackers have something like 12.
The closer u are to the next cappoint, the less spawntime. <- Thats my theory, remains to be proven ^^
But the other stuff is proven. :18

Yeah I have been experiencing 27 seconds spawns, I might as well go and make a cup of tea while playing.

I like the respawn times as it is, you can actually win maps/stages now.

All you say its true, but a lot of players get only 20s spawn when attacking, defending, with 14 players on server or with 28.

he's right; I think the spawn times are bugged right now, I'm pretty sure that they've been longer than usual over the past few days. many have been 20s+, which was before was either a rarity or didn't happen at all.

I bet they've just reverted to original spawntimes, so it's not bugged per se.
And it's been like that for a good month now.

Yes, it's annoying the times you get caught in the 20+ sec cycle, but you have to agree that it's been more... pleasant to play when it
comes to winning the more or less 90% stalemate stages (dustbowl, last stage comes to mind, or even second stage).

an ideea is to put it a litlle longer not just have time for making a tea but the people who live nearby to have a quick meet, have a beer, some quality time..what do you say?

dont know where to put this and dont want to start a new topic so:
This morning a strange bug happened when i was filling the server up (1) both carts on pipeline (second stage) dissapered after i pushed the cart onto the point jumping around as scout......so im guessing i triggered the carts to move to next stage but not the round to end..... :ugly: resulting in a round that would never end......luckily Mint came around and helped us....

That happens sometimes, I saw both carts being pushed almost at the same time into capture zone, and result was both carts dissapeared from next stage :mrgreen:

But think what had happened if Mint hadnt come the server had been stuck on pipeline with no carts :S
