Got it when it went gold. But the servers(mostly) nowadays have A LOT of downloaded voice spams(like the quake voice) and it kinda messed it up for me :(

I play this game regularly, but I mostly play on orange maps and on gg servers ;p

I think there is a way of disabling those sounds with a command in the console, but I don't know what it is. I have it but don't play it.

You can turn it off in options. Just go into tab about voicechat and turn down volumes to minimum.

Goudvis, Mint, Me and some others have been playing it when we have time.. I don't mind the quake sounds etcetera.. but the one thing that does annoy me is that every server I go to is voicespammed by Germans/French with alltalk on.............

That disables all voicechat in-game, some people might want that on. Rele posted the command anyway.

totally agree on this one, the amount of French/German/russian people that voice spams are .... really huge. it actually pisses me more off than dying 20 times in a row, and the fact that most servers have all talk on, so you can't really make any effort in creating teamwork or warning your team members about snipers, MG's and the like.

I see Akix have been playing it a lot though... I think I managed to get him hooked on the game again :P

Also got it, its awesome, altough finding popular vanilla server is quite hard. Also there are tons of great maps around, and cool mods - like being hit in the arm makes you drop your weapon :mrgreen: I was playing a lot dod prior to tf2 release, now only occasionallly, and since bf1943 is so awesome I wont play dod much :P
