They did activate their account, otherwise they wouldn't show up in my contact list. Also Unity has just activated his account too.

The Necromancer (4970)
I did activate it yesterday (that's when I received it) but there was nothing there initially. Today there was (i.e. lots of spam by people playing around like a fat kid in a candy store :-P).
It took three or four days for the invite to reach me, so don't fret if it takes a while.

Grammar Nazi attack - it's "no one". :-P

P.S. Demm started a good trend by putting in his SpA nickname in the "status" field of his profile - I know so few of you by first name... Although Lacop was easy to figure out, ha, ha.
P.P.S. The interface is kinda laggy, which annoys me, but that was to be expected from a complex web app.

I have no idea what you are talking about ;) I've added you to another wave... Bear in mind that some 100 posts has been deleted from that one :P

The reason that Opera is not yet supported by Googlewave is because of the fact that the HTML 5 support of Opera is not yet as far implemented as it is with the webkit render engine(Chrome/Safari) or the one used by Firefox.

Hopefully within the next major release the support for HTML 5 will be better.

if you go to the box called "All" there should be a wave there which is called: "Invite others to Google Wave".

I got 20 invites to send out for Google wave.
