that is the single most awesome thing I have ever seen

..but I doubt it's real. I mean, a tiny little paddling pool isn't going to break a huge jump like that; he'd be just as well landing on solid ground

Your argument is invalid. Theres a worldrecord, I m not entirely sure about the height, but I believe its 60 metres and from that height someone is jumping down in a pool filled with 20 cm water. Not hurting him.
And this pool looks a lot like the pool we have :mrgreen: , so its filled up to 1-1,10 metres and I doubt he reached the height of 60 metres.
The fact I m doubting is, that he really reaches his target that exactly. Theres such a high risk missing the pool, I dont know, if someone would really do it.
I m not sure what to think, doesnt look faked, but on the other hand it looks insanely dangerous and :92 I dont know ...

lol sonny, 60m fall makes water equal to concrete unless the body has a sharp entrance in the water so it can spread it like a nail. There's no way however that 20cm of water is of any importance at the speed the body would gather in 60m, the inertia will cut through that right into the ground. You'd need a couple of meters of water to cushion the fall until the inertia ends.

20cm is about the size of the head of the man walking in the left part of the picture. Superman could do it though.
As for the video bucky posted, fake. Easily faked too, you just need to crop from 3 clips and make a floating body. The resolution helps a lot too.

I watched it besides when it was in tv, and thats not what I've seen. I m pretty sure it was a number with two digits.
Ok, 40-50 metres sound a bit too much, but 2ß or something, I cant remember it.
But although the water in the vid is ~1m deep, he is diving into it, so he has to hit the ground, but who knows, if its a fake or not...
