Yeah, it was nice movie footage though, thought it was going to go on forever. What a nice car....and all those cars Jay Leno had...nuts :|

I did love the adverts especially the one that clarkson decided to show at the end.



I was laughing my head off. Only Clarkson would make an advert like that :lol:

Aye, I watched this episode last night and I have to say, it made up for what I considered to be quite a weak season.

The ad men were a couple of miserable fuckers though weren't they? They must have been hoping the BBC would see how miserable and condescending they were and give them a show like 'The Dragons Den' or 'The Apprentice'.

The sad thing is, they probably would.

And the ending of the show was a bit of a weird one too. I mean, usually Jeremy says, we'll be back in the Summer or blah blah. But he never. AND he didn't end it on a bombshell either. Only that weird but beautiful Aston Martin montage.

Quite frankly, if Top Gear ends, I end.

porsche are gay cars... only guys in there midlife crisis buy them... if i get the choice between a porsche and a fiat panda ill take that fucking panda...

Porsche are by no stretch of the imagination, 'gay cars'.

The 911 is a fucking classic which through years of technical tweaks and inspired design choices has become not only a fantastic road car but also an amazing track car. It truly is the best of both worlds. Well... Unless you wanna go for a GT3 or something. But that's for people with more money than sense. And yes, if I had more money than sense I'd totally buy a GT3.

Then I'd take it to the Nurburgring and smoke every fool who thinks they can keep up with me.

And since I've got more money than sense anyway, I'd move to the town in the middle of the Nurburgring and I would drive my GT3 round it every single day. :D

Here's some of the other cars I would own and drive round the track. In no particular order;
EDIT: I know the Kawasaki Ninja isn't a car but by God would I love to take that thing for a spin. I'd probably kill myself first time but what a way to go!

EDIT EDIT: Oh, and you know that Top Gear Aston Martin montage was shot in Scotland don't you? :wink:

That film was rather to sum up the current car industry - reducing co2 at all costs ( which means modern super eco-diesel produces about 110g co2/km and 20 times more NOx than petrol engines ), stupid hybrids and useless electrics car, and growing hate towards expensive and in green mind polar bears killing cars, and milions of speed and bed camera :ugly:

They're already filming the next season. So don't panic.

My ex had porsche 911, I spun it on a race day at donnington park... that either makes the car to gay for the raging masculinty that is me, or it makes me to gay for the car.

I used to own a 1965 VW Bug, in electric blue with an Audio 80 engine, conversion was a nightmare as the 80 is inline as aposed to flat 4.

Now I dont drive.

But I do enjoy top gear.
