Perhaps it looks like Warcraft because it is kind of a stand-alone remake to a Warcraft mod?I've played a few matches and it's pretty fun so I don't give a damn what it looks like. |

Yeah, this is from the creators of savage. They asked the creator of DotA if they could remake it and it was ok~ It's pretty fun, some characters are still somewhat imbalanced but overall; just go random heroes on a newbie server and you're set xDD |

Hum. I would maybe play the game if it is free. But no doubt I wouldn't pay money for a mod clone of WC3 which I own in at least 300 different versions

Just like Tales of Monkey Island is 'just a remake'. That doesn't mean it's bad. Played some more and somehow, after playing about 4 games and losing every single one of them, I managed to get a rating of -9. As far as I know that's impossible. Everyone else (on the Noob servers) has got 1000 at least and about 1600 at most. |

Maybe it's a bug, it IS still in beta~ Yellow and me just played a game with random heroes, and I got a stealth/melee character that didn't become stealthy till level 6.. so I died about 4 times in the first 7-8 minutes.. and some bigdick (his name was digbick or summin) called a vote EVERY FUCKING MINUTE.. to kick me.. he clearly did not understand the game title "newbie game" >_> The only real downside to this game are those fucking DotA pro's who like to make hate, not love O: So let's do some friendly SpA games sometime :3 |

Yeah, let's. One game I randomed some crappy Mage Hero and I died A LOT. Those Stealth/Melee types just charge up to me and kill me in 3 shots. That's bloody frustrating. I like to play as Dwarves though. I always like Dwarves.

If it's a matter of money (which it always is!) you should check this out; http://www.leagueoflegends.com/ The best with it is that it's FREE! :D Also, instead of just being a DotA clone, it actually has taken the DotA gameplay to the next level and thrown in a few RGP elements for extra customization. I'm somewhat hyped over it, but have yet to obtain a beta key :( But it will release soon enough anyway :) Oh, btw, also have some beta invites for Heroes of Newerth as well :) |

Press F6 for the community overlay, there should be a box to add people. And for invites you need to post your email. |
