I've played the demo, and it was great.
Really don't know if I should get it though, because there will be tons of awesome games coming out till the end of the year...
I'm talking about the PS3 for my part of course.

Yeah I've played the demo and I will be getting it for damn sure.

Can't wait to get my teeth into the full game. Not to mention it's great to hear Kevin Conroy as Batman again.

Meh, I just want the game.

I'll go to Forbidden Planet if I ever want crap like that.

Which is to say I won't ever want anything like that, and therefore I won't be going to Forbidden Planet.

It's only a matter of time before the 'Curious' become 'Buy Curious' though Barty my boy.

And then what have you got? A bunch of useless crap taking up space, that's what.

Still though, all the collectors editions that are coming out nowadays are a bit annoying. There was a time when a collectors edition just meant a nicer box and a thicker manual with some extra crap you wouldn't read anyway. Nowadays though, they give away all sorts of crap with games. Helmets, Night Vision Goggles, Batarangs. And truthfully, it's all getting a bit nuts.

I can just imagine some deluded nerd rolling around his back garden wearing a Spartan Helmet. Then he hears a noise in the darkness... So he dons his night vision goggles to get a better look. Then, with the flick of his wrist throws his Batarang which stuns the neighbours cat. Or in Lim-Dul's case, throws his Batarang to stun his next victim ;)

Speaking of Lim, I haven't seen him in a while. Where is he?

I'll tell you something though, there is one Collectors Edition I would buy. If Half-Life 3 came with an Authentic Gordon Freeman Crowbar, I'd totally buy that. Day one baby!

Anybody need any crates or vents destroyed? Any headcrabs jumping around you want disposed of? I'm your man.

The only collectors edition that would matter is tf2 with all 9 classes action figures - it could cost a zilion and it would still sell millions. Damn this reminds me of how I want a heavy action figure on my desk :(

they would probably make more money than when they released Left 4 Dead 8 a week after 7.

The Necromancer (4970)
Back on topic:

Considering the recent SFIV Windows Live key shenanigans I posted about it's unlikely I will be *buying* the game, if you catch my meaning - especially since I still have an unused key, should it be necessary.
I like Batman - I loved the Tim Burton movies and to a slightly lesser degree the prequels/re-imagining and was MAD about the Animated Series (original run). However, I'm not a real fan to the degree that I'd jump on everything with Batman on it - I'll try it out but I don't think it will really draw me in so that it would warrant a purchase. Hey, I'm supposedly a Star Trek fan and still went in a wide arc around most Star Trek games (perhaps because most of them sucked balls ;-).

There is a chance, that game will fall in the same trap as Assasin's Creed - great graphics, great desing, first few hours absolutely awesome and then it may became extremely boring. Lets hope they can provide enough variety. And back to the game I love how batman is almost helpless with 2 or more enemies armed with guns, I played last demo segment about 5 times trying different tactics :)
