The making of the film...

Pretty impressive for a budget of $50. :)

The Necromancer (4970)
Cool find!
The acting and special effects are on par if not better than many straight-to-DVD movies. These guys might make some money if they were to get a publisher and maintain the cost-to-quality ratio. :-D

I wonder if the NS2 team will reward them with some goodies - free copies of the game would be the least they should do, IMHO.

They have a thread over at the official NS2 site here, don't know if they have talked to the team though but if they haven't they definitely should.

Nice find Loke, im really into my fan films, working on one myself.

Suprising what you can do with a green screen, some good keying, and long months sat compositing and making all the 3D work.

I trust you guys have seen the HL2 fan films, the good ones i mean, like City 17 and What's In The Box.

Of course they have! Some of the assets you see in the film (like armory, onos, hive, ...) are models from NS2 that the director got from UWE after he showed his first few renders.
The skulk for example he modeled himself, that's why he looks more like a NS1 skulk and not like the new NS2 skulk.
