Kinda fun to see them fool around with what very much reminds me of WoW epics. Seems they have at least played with the though, and actually implemented it, if only for them to fool around with.
Let's hope they never introduce uppgrades that are superior to everything else. Sidegrades are the way to go :)

Hard to make sidegrades though without implementing stupid things.

Aye, true that, the sandman I believe is living proof of that :P
I wouldn't mind the epics though, with all they're different stats, as long as everyone got them and are on the same lvl, and got propperly balanced. Perhaps a bit downscaled and tweaked though, since lifedrain would somewhat defeat the purpose of medics.
Cause like you say, they don't really have that many stats to play around with and more stats would make it easier to make different sidegrades. Then on the other hand, it's nice to see some different items as well. It's just the sandman's stun I don't really like :( Rest of the weapons are nice.

I'd still be a shit Soldier with that at my disposal.

Plus, I wouldn't be wanting to pull off any rocket jumps.

My rocket launcher has 100% less damage because Robin got annoyed that I killed him.

I want one where airblast doesn't cost ammo, it just requires there to be air around you :3

Would you all have airtanks with you? Then you would be able to use airblast a certain amount of times then you suffocate :D

First problem is fire in a vacuum, the pilot light would keep going out.

Though a low grav oxygen dependant TF2 already sounds awesome.

I only wanted airblast, which wouldn't be a problem if you had your own oxygen supply except you would die if you used airblast too much :3 (It also wouldn't be 'air' per se :P

You're not even giving the pyro's oxygen? ITS GENOCIDE.

Some of the other physics would be pretty sweet - knockback from firing ANY weapon. Constant aerial acceleration from the pyro using the flamer as thrust. Blobs of urine floating in space waiting for the unwary to bump into them. Grenades that actually fly straight!

I particularly like the idea that the scout would throw his sandman ball into the air and it wouldn't come back for him to hit.

People wouldn't stay on fire and the flare would just do impact damage too. Come to that the soldier couldn't fire rockets and a fair few of the guns would fail to fire as the charges couldn't combust.

It'd be melee and huntsman super-happy-fun-teim!

PS - I'm hoping for a bi-propellant/AP rifle as the soldier update weapon. Swirly inaccuracy but damage increases with range!

What if you had a oxygen pack in the rocket that released oxygen in the rocket at the time of firing ^^

Its the bigger picture we're looking at here... this game is obviously detailed and grounded in its realistic portrail of modern warfare and if there was to be a "space" setting we'd like to see that attention to detail followed through, not some slapdash; here's some space like effects and a "fun" game. Acurate simulation is required.

So no "packs" of fuel for rockets dont cut the mustard as they'd have way of burning once they left the chamber.... Physics at A level aparently is getting easier. :p

Oxygen inside the rocket in a controlled release cylinder is what I said (i never said anything about the chamber, which could always be powered by an RTG if you want to make this advanced, inspired by Metal Storm weapons of course), if you lack oxygen in the atmosphere of space you can just provide it, fuel + oxidant = success! It wouldn't just release the oxygen all at once...
