On this computer there are 5 user accounts, mine included which is the administrator account. When I install programs on my account it installs it for every user. I know if an installation prompts me before it starts to install on my account only, I can do so, but is there any way I can make any program I install to install on my account only, and not everyone else's? Sorry if this is a noob question. ![]() |

You should be able to restrict access to installed programms on a per-user-base somewhere in the deep insides of Windows. Don't think you can do anything against the installing for all users if the programm's install routines don't take care of this. |

I think this problem would be solved with a corporate edition, but I'm not sure though. I think he prompts you then every time if you only want to install it for that account. But Karl, are those sex games such private goods that you don't want your dad to play with em as well? ![]() |
