I like the idea of floating dispenser, but instead of controlling it it would work better as kind of kite sticked to the engi. Also it shouldnt be upgradable, obviously you could sap it or destroy so lvl3 dispenser health would be good

Yeah some these are really nice ideas, I really like the EMP makes the engi an attacking force also

Out of those fake updates, I liked the EMP the least and the floating dispenser the most.

I like the EMP but it has to replace something important combat wise and I'd like to see it "stun" the buildings rather than just instakill. Maybe if the demo got one (with 1 ammo) in place of his sticky launcher and it stopped a building from functioning for 5s/10s. The engie could still try to tank the gun as they would for an uber but a demo without his sticky launcher makes it a pretty specialist role/weapon. If you were to give this to the engie - it would have to be in place of buildings (lets face it, loss of the shotgun or pistol really wouldn't cut it - this would also make it a pure combat engie).

Nails - yes but pretty soon the poor spy may as well not have an invisibility cloak if every class can tag him unless there is a decent cost. No buildings past L1? Would fit in nicely with the combat engie. I also like the idea of a taunt that nails their feet to the floor (no movement but not killed and still able to shoot) until someone else comes to kill them.

Floating dispenser? Sure, why not.
