just a heads up so that if I'm on steam I won't get spammed with invites so much :p

think I've already sorted out the pickups stuff, made a few more people admin on both wireplay and the steam group.

why? well I've been kidding mysself for a while that I'll manage to cope with both the coming year of school (stupid amounts of work) and life at large while still playing these games, and it's not like trying to limit how much time I spend on them has worked. so just plain uninstalling is the only thing that's left for now.

won't be on steam so much obv, but please do drop me a line - scandreid@gmail.com is the address.

We'll soon be releasing a tool which permits you to invite people to a game of L4D or TF2. An automatic e-mail will be send if the contact person is offline in steam. :49

I've been thinking about throwing my PC under a bus and going off to become one of those crappy Caricature artists in Majorca. You might just have inspired me to do that mate.

Oh... does anybody want their caricature done? I need some money for a plane ticket. :|

Learning is overrated, I managed to go to university without giving up gaming somehow. :ugly:

But if you decide to do so, I compliment you on your strong will to go with your resolution ( hopefully ). Thats something I never had. :(

you have the talent and the passion... but you're lacking the heavy accent and stilted english. needs work tbh :p

Sounds like an interesting idea... how about this... finish all the important work... then when you realise your evenings have become dull and lifeless reinstall tf2 and come pickup playing :)

wish it was that easy, but it's hard going right up until the exams in may :/

new plan: re-install TF2 soon cos I want to play it at some point and things are way less clusterfuck-y atm, and I'll only be busier after Christmas sometime (when I was planning to re-install it) anyway. the break should mean I play it less impulsively (i.e not all the damn time) and you guys can shout at me if I'm on too much.

sound good? :4 or am I pussying out a bit..? I don't think so realllyyyy, might uninstall again after Christmas as a safety measure, we'll see. it's been good not having it around for a while, gave me a chance to catch up on alot of stuff, so I wouldn't call this experiment a failure. and I guess I wasn't as gone for nearly as long as I thought, lol

but not l4d though, gonna wait till I get l4d2!
