Best drama series:
1. The Wire
2. The West Wing
3. The Shield
4. The Sopranos
5. Lost
6. Rescue Me
7. Fringe

Best comedy:
1. Californication
2. Entourage
3. Weeds
4. The Big Bang Theory
5. Two and a Half Men
6. Flight of the Conchords
7. Chuck
8. The Office

Best Sci-Fi:
1. Farscape
2. Battlestar Galactica (except for the last episode :ugly:)
3. Stargate Universe

This is just a short list of more or less recent series from the top of my head. Though I have to say the order of those shows varies between the different seasons, so it's really hard to say definitively. One thing is sure though: every show on this list is worth watching!

If you like The Office and HIMYM then you should definitively watch Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men also. Also, Parks and Recreations is pretty funny if you like Mockumentaries (like The Office)

Take out the Mighty Boosh and replace it with Blackadder and Outnumbered and I agree with that list :lol:

I didn't forget, I left them out! They're all great as well, but I like the others I listed better and I wanted to keep the list short so nempaj would actually take them seriously :D

really? after season 1 I persisted right through seasons 2 and 3, and the downright shit ending to 3 put me off completely. it better be pretty special now to get me back.

LOST. but I never get round to watching any of it.
armstrong and miller show when it's on, but most kinda comedy is cool.

thx for the tips. i watched some two and a half men but the jokes are pretty cheap and the series didnt move anywhere in seven seasons? so that makes it kinda meh
