I saw shreds of that show and it was pretty good.
Remember Fawlty Towers? Brilliant show, only one season before being cancelled.

Actually there were 2 seasons of it and it wasn't cancelled

They're on hiatus.

HBO has given the green light for a 3rd season, but the Conchords don't know if they want to do another one. That's because it's too much work for them. They have to write an entire season of a comedy show, also write an entire album worth of music and tape the show, which basically is a 20 minute sitcom with 2 music videos in it. The first season was easier for them, because they used a lot of their old songs, but for season 2 (and possibly 3) they had to work 24/7 to get it done. So now they're kinda burned out.

Got the dvd,s, great show..yeah they used most of their good material in the first series but the second was still class...roll on a 3rd...Murray is a legend..as is Dave :D

Really loved watching their live appearances on YT, then watched a few ep's of the TV-show and...didn't find it funny at all.
