lol i like how the odds of getting a hat randomly are better than actually getting the amount of items needed to make the hat you want :P

Well I saw backpacks with 60-70 same items, so maybe some people will start making hats soon. Only good thing about crafting is that you can mix 2 shit hats for one cool, altough I've read that the result can be "annoying" - demomen fro + demomen fro = demomen fro :ugly:

Mixed two sniper hats and got the demoman top hat, not bad, but it's pretty much just a neater version of the gastly gibus.

Nope, it's random.. However you can narrow it down with crafting certain tokens :/

As far as I can tell that's the only way it doesn't work.. mixing two hats will still make it random I guess~

hat+hat = random hat
if you want class hat you need class token (4 items for one class) + 4 refined metals (36 x 3 identical weapons = 108 items)

for combining them to make another hat, I mean. I would have to think about using them up anyway cos they're one of a kind.

Tip of the day: Check after the update if the cool stuff is really equipped and if you really have 4 Blutsaugers in your backpack to share for crafting. :roll:
