just ordered windows 7 pro upgrade for £36. Thought it was a bargain so thought i'd try it.

No. You just say you are the parent of someone in a school local to you. That's all I did and the order went through.

that's fine you just enter you are a student and then put your school in. They have a list of all education addresses which includes universities, schools and even pre-school.

You have to be a student, teacher or parent of a student to qualify. However you don't have to supply proof.

I ordered mine yesterday and will post when it arrives. Have no idea how good they are at sending stuff out.

it says that the offer is limited to one license per person. I've ordered one so can't get anymore. If someone else in the uk does it for you then it would work .

it's tempting, but I'll pass. generally, if there's a tool that's supposed to make wireless networking easier, 99 percent of the time it just makes it more complicated, in my experience, and that's the only real benefit I can see from an upgrade from vista home premium. that and it's probably not worth the hassle :p
