I want to buy a netbook. Right now I'm thinking about this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Seashell-1 ... 396&sr=8-1 Can I do better than this for around the same price? The only thing I'm not that pleased about is that it comes with xp, I'll probably get linux on it. |

Good first choice. i had an asus eee 1000HE (until i stepped on it) and i found it quite speedy was able to put win 7 on it and it ran fine and the batt life on it was 9.5 hours on the box i got about 8.5 hours on it with wifi enabled so cant complain about that and the specs are similar and i loved it now im stuck with an acer aspire one and it just doesnt measure up to the eee in anyway shape or form |

Yep the only difference between the 1008HA and the 1005HA is the battery life on the 1005HA is longer from what I can see. |
