I think my gfx card in my laptop is now definitely dead...
While booting the laptop there is already something really messed up with the screen.
Then the screen stays black for a while and a blue screen appears for a very short time.
I could see it says the error might have been caused by a file containing "ati" in it (don't remember the correct name).
Okay, then the computer reboots and gives me the option to start in safe mode.
Even in safe mode the screen is really messed up.
I've had similar problems with this a while ago, thought it was my gfx overheating.
After a while the problems went away by themselves (didn't do anything...).
Now they are back, only much worse than before.
I've added some pics for you to see what I mean.

Okay, does this look like my gfx card is fucked?
If yes, there is not much left to do with my laptop, is there? :|

that looks well messed up.

My first question would be, does it display this when your BIOS bootscreen displays ?

Yes, it displays this the whole time.
The very first screen that appears after pressing the power button is a Vaio and Intel logo, already with yellow lines on the left side of the screen.
Then there are white lines everywhere.
The only bios menu I get to see is the one in the screen I provided, which appears after the computer restarting itself (second picture).

If your BIOS screen already displays faulty stuff you can pretty much conclude something is screwed at hardware level. If you feel like toying around you could open it up and see if all the connectors are still fitted correctly for the screen.

I just tried to hook up a monitor through vga, but I can't even get that to work, because it won't let me change the output, resolution, etc. Can't change anything.
Wanted to install the default video driver, but now the laptop does not even recognize the usb stick that was used earlier on the machine (in safe mode).
I'll contact a dealer tomorrow, but it doesn't look that good.
