http://www.apple.com/ipad/ The jury's still out on this for me and I need to give it some throught. I love my iPhone, but I'm just not sure I want a larger version of it. I guess I'm not the biggest fan of netbooks so maybe that's why I'm not convinced.  What about you guys? Love it, hate it, or just ignoring the whole thing? |

Its not a phone? I thought its digital paper (on wich you also can read books, watch movies, go online etc), I would love that, would come in handy in the hospital, I get like a million notes a day filling my pockets to the extent that i look like the michellen man |

I'm not convinced by this either. It has appeal and I'm sure will sell but for me there is no in-between product. I have my Iphone then I use my laptop/pc - I don't need something else sitting between. Just something else to have to blooby charge up. |

I can't really see why I'd want to use that thing. For watching TV I have my big screen. For browsing the web or taking it to Uni I need a proper keyboard. To always have it with me it's still too big. For me it would be completely useless. It doesn't even have USB

If it's for the workplace rather than fun then get one that actually has a proper OS on it?I could use one though by the time i can pay it i have my own office with pc already so that sucks Most other alternatives will have a camera on them as well. |

I really don't know what to think of it. The only context I could see it fitting well would be in the livingroom. It would replace magazines, and you could occasionally browse the web comfortably, read books, play some games etc... Also, it would be cool if you had a compatible stereo system in the living room, so that you could control your music library from the ipad. Other that that I don't see any use for it. Especially for working with it Amyl. I mean you would need to carry that around all the time (rather big and unhandy) and typing on it would not be that great I think...I prefer a solid keyboard. |

With web access and SSH it could be usefull for server techies... that and for CSI people... The only other use is the low price which forces the other netbook/tablet manufacturers to lower their prices.
