Quote: It's looking more and more likely that Valve is set to release Mac versions of not only their Steam client but also various Source games! A number of images were released by Valve to various websites. There appears to be a total of six images but so far only five have been found.

Tbh, screw Mac compatibility! Who needs that shit? It only means more work for Valve, that doesn't benefit the huge majority of the gamers at all. |

Making a mac release means they dont have to bother releasing any full games for another 10months... its called procrastination and Valve should get a frikin award for it ![]() |

Multi-OS support most deffo benefits the majority. If leading companies start to support other OS'ses we might in the future see more followers. If more dev's follow, you might see a new future standard. With that in mind Linux could get more users in the home market. The only reason why me for example is still on windows is games. If Linux were compatible with everything as windows "is" it gives end users much more freedom and choise.

That's a hell of a lot more work for the guys programming the games surely? So we get even shittier games which take even longer to make. |
