Oh, c'mon - don't be so strict. /say is quite harmless unless used to impersonate <CONSOLE> (*shakes his fist angrily*)... Abuse can be annoying but I think there's no need for some specific rules concerning this command, rather it should be handled on a case-to-case basis.

Remember that SpecialAttack.net Freebuild has been designed and became popular due to the "having fun" and "little restrictions" principle. Hence no spawn jails, moderate punishment for griefing main (but harsh for build protected maps!) and so on... I don't want this to turn into some kind of Fascist server. :-P

/Say can be dammaging to clients actuarly, if you spam characters !@#$%*()_+ all at once atleast 3 times, all clients will break, causing instant disconection and other funny stuff.

As to the topic of this thread, nothing, stop tooting you're own horn and do some real work. You have banned people for almost nothing, demoted players for not playing fair and kicked inocent people because you where borded.

You have no idea how much drama there is surrounding Minecraft. I can't believe it either, considering its peaceful, non-competitive nature. i.e. one of the servers we're using, the main one actually, died because one of its devs tried starting a new project stealing the current sourcecode and claiming it was all his without giving credit. ;-)

And by the way - I will follow up on ANY complaints I receive regardless of whom they are against. I have logs tracking every single action, so please just specify who is doing what and preferably when, so I don't have to look for it. :-P

Speaking of a mention to the wiki:

Captcha

I believe I have made my point. The GearHead wiki (and ask the guy who hosts it, Kornel, not one of the mods there, since he's in charge of the software side) has a similar captcha. Spam is practically non-existent there. On the Minecraft wiki here, it seems like 75% (at a cursory glance) of the edits have been made by a spammer with the same IP.

I believe the wiki could be a tool for good, not viagra!

Lim is the necromancer.

The wiki failed, noone could be stuffed documenting their work.
