As promised......
So after the long wait of editing and approval from the band the music video is finally ready.
Ok so here's the breakdown of what I filmed using my Canon 7D.
The Story:
The beginning are my shots apart from the angle coming from behind the trees.
The campfire shots and going into the tent.
Coming out of the tent calling and running out of the forest.
The wide shot on the walk to the spooky door.
The run past the phonebox and the close up which may I add is my favourite shot that I did and I'm stoked it's in the final.
Behind the shoulder shot looking at the poster on the phone booth.
The hands holding at the end and the final shot on the girl.
Camera's used: Canon 7D and Panasonic Hpx171
The Band:
The close ups on the drummer from the side and from the front.
Most but not all of the shots on the second vocalist that is to the left of the band; the close ups of him singing etc.
Camera's used: Panasonic Hpx171 on the Jib and hand held. Canon 5DMkII and Canon 7D.
Oh and I just thought I'd mention that I did some more filming on the weekend. Sunday 21st November to be exact. It was for a horror film and I had a part in it. My character is called Jayne Davies and she is a reporter on her first major story about some murders that have happened around the Southampton area. She works for Christian United News Television!!! I'm hoping you can all see the twist in that
We filmed my scene first which we did early in the morning so as not to disturb the neighbourhood too much. We set up the scene with a Policeman guarding the alley with Police tape and forensics walking up the alley to investigate. After a while the neighbourhood started to get a bit curious and thought there really was a murder so we had to convince them that we were just acting out a film
They also kept offering cups of tea because we were all so cold
After lots of takes not all me I may add. Yeah ok I messed up my lines quite a lot, I have a terrible memory but we got there in the end. We got bombarded by a cat that wanted to get in on the act and then there was the usual giggling fits and at one point my headband flew off :/
Once my scene was over it was on to the murder scene. After warming up I helped out on camera ops to get some good shots of the dead murdered body and let me tell you there was a lot of blood involved!!!!
This will end up being like a trailer and will be sent out to the horror film festivals, if it gets enough attention then we will carry on with the film. The Director that has written the film has already won an award from her last short horror film called Switch which will be online to watch soon.
I shall be posting the trailer up here as soon as I have the permission to do so.
