We've added 2 new maps to the server's rotation; ctf_mercy and pl_swiftwater.

Turbine has been removed from the default cycle and will now only be available in SpA points.

The maps are hosted on our 100Mbit mirror which will be used for ingame downloads. The maps also have been compressed by around 50% to speed up the downloads.

By the way may one of your super admins clean up the maps list for spa points and the admin menu? eg. removing maps we arent allowed to set (arena) or outdated ones.

CTF_Mercy is utter SHIT! worst map i have ever seen, its worse than turbine, at least turbine had at least 3 areas of play, this map consists of a box and two spawn points. The minute this map came on the server emptied and the regulars who stayed were generally negative towards it too. Can we please remove this server killing map and but it back in the bin where is belongs then delete it forever just in case its is found again and its put back in rotation, omg its such a crap map, who the hell recommended that, its terrible...

also, can we loose dust2_bowl please, that map is just nubby and has really bad design. :mrgreen:

yeah, ctf_mercy is pretty bad, and it empties the server pretty quick. not worth keeping as a custom map which newcomers will have to download (putting them off even more)
(to clarify, in loke's screenshot I was talking about the Gunboats, not the map :p)

Yes Mercy is unbelievably bad. Swiftwater looks very good, only played it with like 6 players but this map looks promising.
