i was checking out shit loads of custom character skins and item skins last night (and sending the funny vids to ditch during the process) some of them are AWESOME! heavy bear is amazing :) and the topless pyro looks strange !

I think wrench 1-16 bugged, up to ~40 at least were grabbed by leaked times, if not all until ~70. Forum said there was an irc channel giving the times, multiple people seemed to know the times. Its such a giant fiasko, the normal user had not a tiny little bit of chance, but no chance at all to get a golden wrench.
They should take all golden wrenches back and make a huge reroll and give them out as they pretended it to be, but this is unrealistic to do.
Maybe special hats for everyone who didnt craft multiple times near drop times. :? ( The Valve way to fix problems. )

I want a special hat for being completely oblivious to everything that is going on with this update.

Maybe like a Metal Gear Solid style question mark to put above my characters head. Maybe it could even make that surprised noise whenever somebody talks about golden wrenches. You know, like when you surprise the guards in MGS?

Nah it should be available to everyone - its not a medal which doesnt affect gameplay so imho it should be normal weapon craftable/dropable. Especially after the fail with giving it away. :ugly:

Did valve actually say the drops were random? If they didn't then I don't see the controversy and if they did, I still don't see the controversy. Also with set times they should of expected someone like DF to cheat the system.

I want this update to end so they can get on with making a good demo format :ugly:

But it says there's "no per-day limit" which is a flat out lie if they have it on a timer.

Speaking of which, I watched a direct feed trailer of Portal 2 last night (Obviously I missed all the E3 stuff through lack of internet) and I'll be damned if I didn't find it incredibly charming. I mean, I wasn't mental about Portal, but the sense of humour and characterisation on show was just brilliant. Really got me hyped for the game tbh.

im assuming u played portal ? portal 2 looks awesome, just a shame it takes that company now so bloodly long to release anything, it is like they are turning into a normal games dev :(
