Ok so I'm interested in getting hold of some more stand up comedy stuff, so I figured I'd ask on here to see if theres any about worth checking out and getting hold of. Heres a list of comedians i've got stuff by:
Al Murray
Bill Bailey
Bill Hicks
Chris Rock
Dara O'Briain
Dylan Moran
Ed Byrne
Eddie Izzard
George Carlin
Henry Rollins (not really stand up but the spoken words pretty decent)
Jimmy Carr
Jim Jefferies
Lee Evans
Lewis Black
Richard Pryor
Robin Williams
Rhod Gilbert
Tim Minchin

So yeah thats all I've got so far, anyone got anything to add to the list? :5:

I think Henry Rollins needs to get his head out of his ass and widen his perspective.
I can relate to his opinion on modern rock bands (although I think he needed to call them pop-rock bands, since there are many 'modern' bands that are absolutely brilliant), but the stuff he says about rave music and the likes just shows that he focuses so much on how the music is made that he's completely blind for the fun that can be had with that sort of music.
When I'm at home I prefer to listen to some rock (almost any genre), lots of funk, sometimes jazz when I wanna relax.
But when I'm out with my mates, I don't want to listen for the techniques the musicians use or to learn something from listening to the music. I just want to have some fun with some music that is just right for 'dancing'.
Also, he forgets that electronic music can have some very intricate structures and many layers, each adding their own accent. The best electronic music is made from scratch with all kinds of instruments and doesn't use any samples at all.

I used to completely share my opinion with this guy, but I've become more open-minded. Having an open mindset can really improve how much you enjoy life.

Russel howard is horrible. :? Not that big of a fan of Ricky Gervais standup though the Ricky Gervais show is great mainly because of Karl Pilkington. :P

I agree and disagree but I cant explain what the fuck I mean. Apart from his take on music you've gotta agree that his head isn't that far up his ass :p

I'd add Demetri Martin to the list:

My favourite Demetri Martin invention is the Paradoxisaur.

Basically it only exists if you don't believe in it. Whereas if you do believe in it, it ceases to exist.
