I'm going to cut off this discussion. You either produce a workable config PER MAP, and post it here, or you stop posting in this topic, and thats the end of it.You can bitch and whine all you want, or you could fkin do something about it.

Fair enough Saint, i want the same as you, but im not a code person at all, so unless i learn it i cant do anything practical other than just express my concerns. But as no one else is really interested in this or helping out, it pretty much makes my original post and point mute, so I give up.

It doesn't require any coding. I pasted the configuration on the plugin a few pages back. All you need to do is carefully read trough the descriptions are figure out what the best value's would be.

So it is not a single script but a set to put up.

yeah. configs are pretty good (well, goldrush isn't quite top-notch, but we could have to rebalance them anyway) and definately better than nothing. guess you just missed the categories saint :ugly: so go ahead!

These are the cfg's which will be executed at mapchange per type of map (each map has a own cfg file, i will point the map cfg files to load the correct scramble cfg's).

I made 2 small changes;
- Public voting is disabled (we don't permit any voting on our servers at all, permanently)
- Admin menu integration disabled (the plugin should be able to do its work fully automatic without any admin's manually calling a scramble)

One thing i don't get is that in the posted CFG's you protect the top 5 of each team from being scrambled. I think that's mostly the part of players who are causing the unbalance.

I've attached the CFG's, if you want a change, download the CFG, edit it, and re-attach it.

We had to disable the scramble plugin due to new bugs introduced with last nights update. We'll be researching the issue and will come up with a solution as soon as possible.

Can you try the new valve scrambler ? That plugin which is on servers only makes things worse, it usually takes away and puts sniper, spies and engis in one team, and medics heavies in the other :| And usually after scramble one team gets steamrolled very badly.

i think it's worth a shot. we could spend forever fiddling with the plugin, but it would still be funny; valve might just have made it good.
