Woooooooow! I love thunderstorms. Nice shots indeed. Funny you should put those up because Moist showed me one of his first lightning shots the other day. It seems there is a bit of a new trend :ugly:

I planed to be at a D Day ceremony with a friend because we lived on the D-Day beaches. So we choose Arromanches-les-bains (Golden Beach), where the english landed.
100 % English ceremony ;). Was a great time as always, and glad to see some English Veteran. Thanks to them and all the others who fight for Liberty.
Got a lot of pictues, and I will not flood the forum, so you can check the others on my flickr gallery.

Everything is taken with the Canon Macro lens 100 mm F2.8 USM.
And for the pict :

Exposition 0,005 sec (1/200)
Ouverture f/7.1
Longueur focale 100 mm
Vitesse ISO 100
(sorry for the French :p)

When I was 16-18 or so I used to do photography, here are the only shots I consider worth showing today (back then I would've probably uploaded whole albums :D ). No idea why I didn't continue, I've felt the urge to go buy a nice DSLR for a long time now ...

Do you do any colour editing to your photo's G? I just feel that your photo's need to be slighty enhanced to add a bit more depth to them. The composition is spot on, they just need a bit of ....something! Do you have Lightroom?

I normally do add some contrast etc. but that day was reeeeally cloudy so the pics were all taken with 1600 iso or higher and had no contrast etc. - thats all i could edit i think.

1st at iso 800 and 2nd at iso 3200 - those baby-cheetahs tend to hide in the darkest corners of their reservoir :-?
