So I like to drag my Nikon D80 around with me all the time but anyone with a DSLR will know they ain't light. So often my iPhone 3GS often has to carry the burden of capturing moments that otherwise would be missed.
The camera on it clearly is not that good, but I've recently discovered a couple of apps, being Hipstamatic and Coloursplash that have given me some pretty good results. In particular Hipstamatic simulates old 50's / 60's cameras and lenses and I quite like them. Heres what i mean:
They are tiny file sizes i used (less than 100kb) so quality is purely for demonstration
Then some post processing on my iPhone using coloursplash
Now subject matter (my daughter) means something to me but clearly will mean nothing to anyone else. However I quite like the oldie feel it gives.
