Saw this today and i was shocked at how beautiful and immersive it looked! Such an amazing environment! Didn't realise that the original bioshock team didnt make the second one (which was pretty much a heap of crap) so i can see why they didnt make the 2nd; this game looks intense ![]() Trailer! Check out the 10mins of gameplay from the tech demo! http://www.gametrailers.com/video/ten-m ... ite/704932 More info:http://www.bioshockinfinite.com/ |

Just play the first one, and take your time, until number 3 comes out and just skip 2 ^^ |

My problems were things like immersion and story tbh; i enjoyed playing it; just it didnt grab me, and pull me in like the first one did. It's a much better story arc when the protagonist is from outside the world and they are plunged into (pun intended ^^) a completely different one. Never tried the MP modes as i didnt have xbox live at the time; but im a whore for an amazing SP narrative.

So, is the air city meant to be hidden? I mean wouldnt you notice a city floating above you? ![]() |

I've not played any of them as of yet, But I am definitely going to get this. I also agree with the bad aiming point aswell. |

Nah. The premise is that, at the turn of the century, this is the direction that humanity moved in, with airships and flying cities. There are supposedly many flying cities up there.![]() It's not like Andrew Ryan's intellectual utopia, so I have to imagine that it is not even based in the same universe that Rapture exists in cause frankly, you think something like that might have been referenced at some point in time. I mean, airborne cities people. Airborne cities. |

Well they did mention something about escaping the revolt or something in bioshock, its probably still in the same universe, but "according" to the internets, rapture was made in secret, whilst columbia was made publicly until civil war broke out etc etc, either way, up or down they are escaping the ground which must be proper shit ![]() |

BioShock Infinite Announcement "Instead of going back to Rapture, the game takes in the early 1900s in a city called Columbia. However, Columbia isn't an ordinary city – it's floating in the sky, and it's full of secrets." Not sure if that helps anyone at all, but it might. also http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/Murder_of_Crows thats the power up they use. |

I haven't played Bioshock, since I don't like this kind of scary claustorophobic games, but the gameplay video of BSI looks extremely awesome. Yet it made me wonder: is this actual gameplay? There would have to be so many scripted events - what if the player just decided to run back where he came from after the crow accident? ![]() But especially amazing was catching the giant bullet of the canon midair and sending it back ![]() |

Post subject: | Re: [BS:I] Bioshock Infinite |
Essentially what this is is actual gameplay, but its heavily scripted to show of elements and new features; the gameplay is also mixed with scripted story events which are still presented in the same first person fashion as the gameplay. Possibly a lot of the movement is on a predetermined track and/or the designer has nailed down the navigation for the video to a tee. |

Yeah looks really, good. Just completed the first one for the second time and making my way through the second one. It's not bad...just not special like the first. Will definitely be getting involved with infinite ![]() |
