Just wondering what you have running as well as
playing minecraft. For me I just put my iPhone on shuffle and listen to that. Vary rarely I have the television on.

The same, I have itunes up on random, usually i have freebuild AND alpha up so i can switch back and forth, i usually have the forums up so i can reference them when needed, irc, and also a chess game going on as well, i looooove chess...its as addicting as minecraft to me

Firefox, mIRC, sometimes MirandaIM and Remote Desktop - usually nothing else, since I like to keep both my Desktop and my Taskbar clean. And I don't like listening to music on my computer - LOL.

Always have a tv show on from my many pirated one on my computer when I'm doing menial things (like digging for example). A lot of the time mIRC or Ventrilo, and on occasion I play guitar.
