Hi, there has been a lot of discussion tonight on freebuild about the best internet browser (spouting from miner97 saying mozilra firefox :P)
So, i thought i'd make a poll to see which browser reigns supreme!!!

Saint, just a forewarning I don't care if it gets me banned, anyone who votes I.E. in this will get their accounts deleted.

Firefox, professionally.

Cardboard! I agree with the IE thing! Also, could you pretty please give me some posting rights on the wiki? I want to write a little bit about the ranks and also make a player page for me.

I use both Chrome and Firefox - Firefox on a day-to-day basis and Chrome when I need speed and not all the fancy extensions. ^^

I use Opera for speed and day to day basis and i use firefox for the addons and the way the downloads system is set up.

I like Mozilla, it makes browsing through numerous thumb porn sites a hell of a lot easier. :lol:

I use Firefox but I guess that's mostly because I'm so used to it and its addons.
I love Chrome's slickness and used it at work but the instability really got to me in the end, so I switched it for...
Opera - which is o-okay. Nothing special, nothing bad. Just ok.
IE on the other hand..well, there are still(!!) web-pages which can only be viewed with it so it's pretty much a necessity.

As for the question in the Topic Title: it's silly. There is no general best. It depends on what you need your browser to do.

However, I advise anyone that has lots of stuff to do with shockwave/flash to stay THE FUCK AWAY from Chrome. Using 2GB of ram for a video stream is awful. Crashing in the middle of it is worse.

IE9 is an improvement, although I still use chrome. FF I find slow.

Yeah that's basicly what I do ^^

I don't think anyone uses IE, unless they're a turd or something.

Almost exclusively use Mozilla. I start Chrome up on rare occasions when I just quickly need to google anything and close it down afterwards.

Mozilla all the way for me, but I can't really say i've tried anything else out.
The only reason I would open Internet Explorer is to double check if my internet has gone down ;).

Hmm, I like firefox best, but lately I've been having major performance issues with FF4 and have resorted to using IE9 (I don't trust Chrome, Google has no morals)

firefox and safari. no problems with either, however my school issues macbooks to all students and safari was made by apple so i use safari when the situation demands it.
