ladies and gents, tonight at 20:00 cet (1 and a half hours from now) on warsever 1 the Specialattack Community highlander team presents a competitive TF2 spectacle for your viewing pleasure! come along and support us by watching on STV (connect here: 85.17.60.96:25016 )

this should be a pretty good match; .LV are currently in third position on the ladder, and the last time we played we came away with a very, very close loss on a map we had zero experience with, so this is a team that should provide a nice challenge for us. we're scheduled to play gravelpit and granary; gpit we've played successfully a few times now (although we have yet to be really tested on), and granary we can safely say is our favourite map. whilst it isn't a super-important league match, it is a ladder match, so it should have that competitive edge to it. conclusion? this one's worth watching :4

wow. that lasted just about forever D:

gravelpit we won with a golden cap (played it for nearly an hour!); granary they took 0-4, although we made sure it wasn't a steamroll. whilst i think we were getting frustrated towards the end (i know i was, played like shit for most of the night ._. ), there's alot we can learn from playing against a top team like that. thanks to nonoice for mercing pyro and to balls for jumping in to play scout for granary!

By replacing certain sound files with .WAVs of what you want, it is possible... client side more so that server side.

Server side you'd have to force the sounds into the right place... which would cause loading errors for many.

plugin would suggest I was talking about server side :D

I think there is problems doing it client side anyway because there was a big thing about people editing the spy decloaking sounds so they were really loud, same with medic dropping uber. It's no fun unless everyone is forced to hear it ;)

playing this on warserver 2 now. afaik, the stv for this is 85.17.60.96:25025

if it doesn't work, send me a msg on steam before the match start and i'll try and reload the map, that should fix it.
