Hey guys, so basically I've been playing Minecraft a while now and, its great.. However, I really wanna try some more games and I've been told that TF2 is great. So, this will be my next adventure.
I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give me a guest pass so I may try it out. I'd be extremely thankful, and I hope to be playing with ya'll soon! :mrgreen:

i'm not sure if free passes/demos are around, but if they're not, then with every update there is a weekend when you can play tf2 for free and buy it afterward for a discount. it might be a few months until the next one comes around however.

but The Orange Box was - and probably still is - the bargain of last century. it includes TF2, and if it's still going for as cheap as it was then it's an absolute steal.

basically, tf2 on its own is pretty cheap, about £13.99, but for £16.99 you can get HL2, EP1, EP2, Portal (amazing game) and TF2.

Only guest pass i've got left is for Saints Row 2, I did have a pass for TF2 but I gave that away yonks ago.

when this free weekend thing comes, I might try it too =P I play Battlefield Heroes (Same graphics as tf2) and I'm starting to get bored of that, so ill prob get addicted to this =P
P.S. How much is TF2?

They often do deals on tf2, at one point they had it at something like £1.99, although that was an extra mega special thing

The only reason they charge for it at all is to prevent people from simply creating accounts to avoid bans, or so I've read... The new mann co BS is their new cash cow anyway.

But yea. TF2 is awesome. Get it.

Prices are different on different countries, aren't they? I *must* get $30 to get the Orange Box... if I don't spend a penny I can get that in 3 weeks... and then I'd give away my TF2, since... that would be stupid to have.
