Minecraft.net, and thus the authentication server, is down. So yeah, you can't log on through normal means. The SpA servers ARE up. |

This is a nice site someone has made: http://isminecraftdown.net/ The fact that it had to be made speaks for itself (or LOLNotch ;-). It's similar to: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/minecraft.net But also reports when MC.net is very slow, which could cause problems... |

Also, calm down. Minecraft SMP is down 145% of the time (yes, 145%), and many of these cases was form minecraft.net, so it is safe to say at least 113% of the time (yes, 113%) minecraft.net is down. It is a game that likes to be down, it isn't the end of the world. |
