ATTENTION: I will be disabling iConomy for about 20 minutes in the near future while I devalue the $pa to 10% of its current value. What does this mean? First, everybody will have 10 times the $pa they have now. All the prices will be, however, 10 times what they are now. I will also increase the money that we get every once and a while from $2 to $20. To find the new value of something, take what you would have bought/sold it for before, and multiply it by 10. Why am I doing this? We don't have enough resolution when it comes to low value items. How much is a stack of cobble worth? $1 or $2? One is twice as much as the other. This wouldn't be an issue if we could do decimal transactions, but we can't, so it is. |

The whole shop buying low and selling high is in an effort to keep player shops going. Players can undervalue the shop and give players a better deal. I certainly hope iconomy can be linked to a zone though at some point. It seems more logical then just spawning items from an invisible shop in the middle of nowhere. An iconomy shop per major city would be cool. I say this, of course knowing the highly unlikely scenario that this will happen, and I'm just stipulating "wouldn't that be cool". I also say that just because I hate it when people go "THIS SHOULD BE LIKE THIS" on our forum about the server software. |

Yeah Ollie, I think that already may be a feature. Just need a way to set it up. Anyway, the 20 mins is how long its going to take me to modify all the shop prices and balances/starting balance/money tick. I'm editing the csv's with open office. |

Does this change any items being sold, or not sold, by iconomy? If so could you give an "official" list of what is being sold? If not, could you do it anyways? ![]() |

The official list is everything with a price on it in the sticky I posted. All prices listed except obsidian are 1/10th of what they are now. Obsidian is really wrong. |

Can anybody explain the /shop to me? I can sell stuff there to the 'server' or can i have my own /shop as well, when i'm away? (linked to chests or something?) |

As personal shops become stable, we will implement them. Right now though, the iConomy documentation is full of ominous warnings of doom if personal shops are activated. |

Actually, I need a large shop area with a radius of 10-20 blocks to use as the static location. I'm going to put one up quickly with a few cuboids when I get home, but feel free to propose a build here. |

You can use my one in SpAradise City, it's the big one in the market district. It's not the prettiest thing, but it has the space you need. |

So wait, soon you will only be able to buy things at a shop, these shops eventually being in all cities and maybe towns? I think that's pretty neat. When you've got stuff sorted out, can there be one in my town? I just wanna know so I can reserve some space for it, or so I don't end up building one that wont be an actual shop. |

Yeah Xes we will give you your money back and we can use that in SpAradise. It is close to spawn. I will convert it and make it prettier. I need something to do now that the bridge is done...I just go on and jump around these days... |
