Bit of a long shot, but i quite fancy playing more competitive mixes and highlander games as scout; so just putting that out there if those that play, need a scout merc.

as always man :5: we're taking a break from highlander for a little while (maybe even until after christmas cos things are gonna get super busy) but after that most of the SpA|com team is up for some sweet, sweet 9vs9 :4

Cool, just feel i have done the pub grind now, and want to play more with players of the same-ish skill.

On that note, I can play Spy fairly well in highlander matches, and need professional practice still, so feel free to invite me to a game too....

nah, just sign up and then join a lobby. some games are pretty good, some are awful. i found that, most of the time, you need to take the initiative for stuff like teamwork, making calls etc yourself. it's never as fun as playing a mix with people you know, but it's a way of getting a feel for the (sort of) competitive side of the game :4

Yeah that was my intention, just read that four page doc about it, tbh, im just happy to have orders barked at me; i.e. "go little scouty, go kill, go get, good boy good boy" etc etc and then i shall comply :twisted: Scatter/Bam how does mumble work in this instance? will the random team tell me where to go? (i assume).

well, im up for mixes if you need a scout, in the last few months i've discovered im a much better scout than i am a sniper.
So now i just try and join the team with a decent sniper so i can get my scout on and not worry about the sniping duties being performed by some asshat :D

Mate you are pretty good as it is, which makes me feel proud :mrgreen: you got me a few times last night, granted i had been playing for 3 hours or more before you joined and i was in the decline of my abilities; and i was raging at the fact Teb always has a crit rocket for me that he some how managed to fart out everytime he sees me.

The first thing i would say is, you need to update your look, you look like a German skier that is getting rapped by a snapping turtle. :ugly: (more importantly it increases the size of your silhouette which is a bad thing.) Once my demo frag video is finished you will hopefully get to see some of my prize sniping spots :)

And my main reccomendation is; watch the top team's matches and understand their gameplays and movements and try to use at your matches (at lobbies for example).

most pro mixteam ever :mrgreen: i played like shit but it was by far and away the most fun i've had in a 6vs6. we need to do this more often, if sonny can put up with us :ugly:

WTF was he complaining about ^^ we won didn't we? twice! and we had bucky! :ugly: (who did in fact play really well on badlands)

I loved the bit when sonny said "oh ja, balls du ist zee best scout ever! super duper ja! du ist eine pwn machine kopf tut weh! alles klar!"

and i just replied "danke" :wink:

TF2 lobby thing gives shit view of tf2 competitive :D
It is only fun when you play lobbies with friends in same mumble :P
