Ok guys, im leaving. Since the change in Spa Management, including the new SPA big boss and our brand new Minecraft management, i saw too much stupidities. I wont say half the things i know, it would be innapropriate. I might come bac in 3 or 6 months but i dont think so. My loyalty was toward Lim and Minecraft, not Spa.

Thanks Lim for your trust in me
Thanks Pando for all the good times we shared
Thanks Cman, Somethingamazing Leonark and the others i forgot, thanks for your friendship and i will never forget you.

Good Bye

or Farewel ^^'

Together we build towards a functional community, with a few main goals (easygoing, adult etc).

You can either help us building towards this (keep sending input with suggestions, signal problems etc), or you can stick your head in the sand and hope things will magically work out by itself.

Cya again maybe Yoah, though we haven't really "met" ingame (mostly due to timezone differences) you seemed like a decent enough bloke.

But seriously...

As the SpA-ers already pointed out you could, you know, suggest SOMETHING and give some arguments why or why not that should change. I honestly can't remember you ever giving any usefull feedback on the (SupOp)-forum.

It's your decision to go but I kind of agree that there's a difference between just stating something is wrong and actually providing constructive criticism. A lot of what you said was only in MSN conversations and others can't read them or act upon them.
There are people disagreeing with many of our policies but that's OK - we read feedback and while in the end we still have the final say in many matters it's not as if it goes unnoticed and isn't at least considered.

Have you ever donated?
Did you ever do anything to try and figure out what, who, why SpA is , was?
Have you ever contributed to SpA in any other way then MC?
Have you figured out Lim is in many ways SpA?

Well, bye bye, unkown entity, who kicks the hand that feeds him...

Don't get me wrong here ppl, but honestly, We, SpA, our doing our best. I bet you at least 95% percent of everyone who's got a subscription to this forum can't even imagine how much work has been put into SpA in general to keep this alive for 4,5 years and counting. You don't have the slightest idea how much time varied members of our techteam or management have put in to getting this community to where it is, with the hardware it's at, the troubleshooting that's being done, monthley costs being covered, the assets in our community from devs to designers to whatever. Not even counting the work that's been put into 1 year (?) of MC as compared to the big picture, tha's negligible! Then now, we're even gonna put in a major load of work in MC together with a lot of you (at least the ones willing to keep SpA MC alive). After the work that's already been put into MC, work by Lim among others.

Just saying, SpA's providing you with a lot and people have bent over backwards to accommodate and integrate the Minecraft community.
Now if you're against inevitable change, if you're against being an active part in that change, if you're against keeping SpA MC alive, if you're against trying to give any co existence between SpA and SpA MC a chance without even wanting to contribute any effort of your side, when you're all for bitching at us while you don't even know who your bitching at, telling us we do stupid things which you clearly haven't signaled to us earlier, trying to tell us that you know everything but you didn't even know SpA already exists for 4,5 years, or who Ditch is , for instance, then,
Leave, yeah . We're clearly better off without the kind of ppl I just described above!

SpA hosts a good server for Mincraft, and has given us a pretty decent community, why would you throw that in their face? :|

I know you guys go back a stretch, but man Yoah, unless you live in an arkward time zone, you've barely played on mc at all during most of my time here anyway.

I'm sure management isn't a long table or evil corporates with ill intentions for us. They're just running their community in their vision. Maybe I shouldn't get involved in this thread, but I can't stand it when people take a unfounded swipe at authority, I'm all for bashing the fash, but it's been said, you can protest, you can put across your opinion.
I'd hate to think anyone got the idea that this is the general atittude minecrafters have towards the rest of SpA.

Bucky, Yoah was a supop at least (maybe trustee, it's been a while between when I last saw him and now), he contributed a ton to the Minecraft server.

Many of the Minecraft people donate, so don't be hostile.

Dude, we understand that, and I sincerely agree with most of Bucky's post, but you really have no need to insult Minecraft nor the SpA Minecraft community.

Well - what he means is that solely playing MC on the servers doesn't mean contributing. Just as solely playing on the TF2 servers doesn't mean it either.

Why couldn't you have just said goodbye? Why did you have to add that little underhanded stab at the NECESSARY changes around here? I never played much with you, and I don't know what kinda person you are, but that was pretty unecessesarily asshole-ish.

I agree, but we both know that Yoah didn't *just* "play" MC on the server... He was a pretty good trustee.

I agree. I had good relations with him.
I just think he didn't quite make the transition back from when everything was handled on the servers themselves and via contacting people (mostly me -.-) privately to the current system where everything is handled on the forums.
