Ok so I finally made an account and was looking at Team Fortress 2 of course, but also the whole Orange Box, Counter Strike: Source and possible left4dead2. Then i found this little bastard. TF2 and CSS are only like 20 dollars combined, however this pack (which I'm sure many of you are aware of) has these two main games i want, with like literally 20 others. For only 50 fucking dollars. Who has this? and Is it worth the 50 bucks?

Thanks in Advance

Half Life 2 = Best FPS game of all time
Team Fortress 2 = Funnest FPS Multiplayer game of all time
Portal = One of the most original, interesting and funniest games of all time.

These three alone are worth 50 bucks, let alone with all the hl episodes, left 4 deads etc.

GO BUY IT :)

You should ask someone of the netherlands (or another europe country which is not germany or uk) to gift you the pack with a paypal transfer. You save almost half of the price then.

:16 I agree completely and if you don't listen to Kaos, you are a FOOL MAN! A FOOL! Also, TF2 is imo THE best team/class based FPS multiplayer ever. Plus, the art style is one of my all time favourites.

I bought Voegelchen (birdie) a load of games in the steam sale and gifted them to him and saved a packet, might be able to do the same for you if you do the math and paypal me the correct amount. BUT only if you have been a good boy this year (also might help the opinion of me with the MC lot a little bit, because i am a nice guy, just i wont take any shit  )

From what I seen TF2 just seemed like some game I oughta get into sometime, but I didn't really look into it until recent, and yeah giving a propper look over, It looks great, it's whole theme and get up is right up my street.

I was too broke to buy it, but looking here now the prices have all dropped, anyone know long the prices will stay down? I might even be able to get the Orange Box

Just one question, I have a piece of shit laptop, am I going to end up lagging if I play it online?

im a big fan of indie games (Plants Vs Zombies, Machinarium, World of Goo, braid - ive spent hundreds of hours in total on those 4 alone) i think the majority are on the indie sale.

Also Super Meat Boy is great (ridiculously hard... but you'll be playing it for hours trying to complete the levels and watching all your deaths in your unsuccesful attempts. has a great, chip tune soundtrack and LOADS of little nods to retro games to keep your nostalgia ticking. i bought it for 13 pound 2 week ago... i think its like 4 pound now....go figure! cant argue with that for 300 levels.

This is the internet where bitter and cynicism are synonyms for existence. All hail Moist; lord of the web.

See, I bought the Orange Box for xbox 360 a looooooong time ago, mainly for Portal and the Half Lifes. I got extremely addicted to Teamfortress2 and now need it for PC :P Indie games usually aren't my thing for some reason.

Balls, you'll always be an old man in my books

It is an awesome game, with one of the best art styles imo every. And its pretty much all hand animated too, no mocap, which lends beautifully to the same mentality on animation that pixar endorse.

What gfx card does your laptop have? if it runs slow, then just lower the visuals, it will probably end up looking like minecraft!

Valve has always been my favorite game company :) They just never dissapoint me! Except when they push release dates back. And then back again. And again. Other than that though, they're pretty badass

I was looking forward to that...

Just to let you all know, because I KNOW you were wondering, I did buy it, and its soo worth it. I highly recomend it. Still pisses me off that i have to wait an average of 21/2 hours for ONE of my 22 games to download. I've play counterstrike but haven't found a really good server. Still fun as hell. TF2 is about an hour away from playtime
