The movie will play IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES!

Thats right... I am trendy AND up to date!

Oh, and yeah, 3D is fun for the first few weeks, but after an entire summer of working with the top of the line 3D equipment, I say it looses its appeal eventually.

Everything loses it's appeal if you do it for a sustained amount of time.

Herion just keeps on giving :5:

I am a firm believer that 3D at the moment is not good enough to justify paying any extra money for movies and shizzle.

But, it's being developed and if you spend money in it now, it'll get developed more and more. If no one spends money on it atm nothing will get evolved. I got better things to spend my money on atm though :49

In my opinion 3D will be standard someday (the tech without glasses that is).
This is just like when colour TVs were introduced.
At first they were really expensive, etc and people might have thought: "Yeah I don't need that crap, when I want to see colours I just look outside the window, bla bla bla". Yes, I'm pointing at you Anna! :P :18
But you all know the rest of the story.
Wait & see guys, 3D will establish itself sooner or later.

3D doesn't work... only have sight in one eye. FUCK 3D and there hasn't been a decent movie made with 3D anyway.

3D seems to be an enhancement but not necessarily a solution to any problem like DVD and there hasn't been anything that has used the technology commercially in an interesting way and not just a gimmick and no good films have made in 3D yet.

M!gu is also right though, in 50 years we might have to use a 3D application to order our pizzas or answer the door etc. I remember saying that I would bother with the whole DVD thing, and that my tube TV was fine  lol
