Ok so on my test server i have been making some awesome constructions. I like mechanics so i am currently making farms. Well I successfully made a highly efficient and effective Sulphur farm. It is so effective i feel like a mass murderer. Well here is a picture of it in action. Please turn off caps lock whilst replying.

I can only imagine the lag. Also - a creeper farm is useless on the SMP because they only drop Sulphur and TNT is nerfed (for good reasons). Assuming you that you plan to use this murdering pit on the SMP server. (which there is like 50 of them). I do however. Want to see a Ghast farm. |

Op+ can use tnt, and since every one op+ is tnt nuts, you'll really rake in some dough. How is it setting them on fire anyway? How's it work?

Everyone is tnt crazed.... I'm just not sure the money would offset the amount of lag those 20 creepers being set on fire hour after hour would cause ![]() |

The farm uses Redstone. And yes I will be selling the design in different models. And Ollie has said he will contract me to build it in his town. It will also incur an income tax. (eg, If Ollie charges for its use I charge a percentage of what he makes from its use.) |

(eg, If Ollie charges for its use I charge a percentage of what he makes from its use.) It takes no mob spawners or anything to get you pretty much infinite sulfurs, arrows, feathers, and string. I downloaded the map and looked at it from a link they put in the description, and it WORKS. |

Isn't this all a mite much? How much virtual stuff do you need? |

Fehzor's spawner only works so well because its built on the 0 chunk and exploits a glitch in the mob spawning AI that has been fixed since Halloween. That design is significantly less effective now. |

But still a lot more effective then everything else lol. As I said, I downloaded the map, and it still works at a phenomenal rate.

Still waiting for a Ghast Farm. No matter how pointless it is when they just drop Sulphur. |

If you want to make one, I'd suggest the following- Large chamber in the nether, with a room on the top of it that controls a floodgate- to do this, simply place a block in the way of the water. After the floodgate, have a series of splits in the water, so that the water turns will entirely flood the pit like area containing the ghasts that have potently spawned there. Note that to place a water in the nether, you have to either hack moving water, or place an ice block and break it, as water buckets don't work in the nether. I'll see if I can build this.... |
