Coestar was doing his livestream and Notch came in!

The bit that annoys me the most is I MISSED IT BY AN HOUR! I logged off Mumble, Notch came in, Notch left, an hour later I came in...

Note: I was only in that Mumble server cos Coestar was and I wanted to talk to him (Got old fast o.o;)

Yeah... Crashing servers... Notch doing stupid shit instead of fixing SMP... Crashing Minecraft.net (which is down as of this writing as well)...
All is very funny indeed. Especially to me as a server admin who is close to shutting down the SMP server until it works properly and suffering a mental breakdown.

P.S. Why is everybody so fascinated by Notch? At this point he's just the guy with the money. He codes like shit, handles business like shit, his game idea wasn't even original (seriously, check out Infiniminer) - he was just lucky that Minecraft caught on because of being released at the right time - heck, if he was a genius with a vision, convinced that he made something brilliant, he wouldn't have been fighting with the notion whether he should quit his day job in favor of Minecraft for like a year...

Ah, well, I guess it's not that fascinating to me considering I talk to game developers all the time - you know, ones with actual skills for which they can be envied and not being self-indulgent assholes at that either. :-\

But yeah, he's failed alot, but after all that, he still made Minecraft, good enough for me!

Stick to your guns, Glitch! Don't let Lim change your mind. If you like Notch then you can damn well like Notch.

Personally, the only reason I PLAY Minecraft to this day is because of the mods. If I didn't even have hacks in Freebuild I probably would have given up. I mean, when SMP was running Vanilla I wanted to kill myself. In game of course, but still.

I'm a neutral on the love/hate notch debate. I'm just glad he didn't get overwhelmed by the success of it and abandon the games development all together. I love the game, but hate the shittyness of it.
