Post subject:  Diablo II + LoD
Since MineCraft is down, can't even log on the classic - I thought why not play good old DII with co-op. Now since most of my RL mates are either busy at work or just stopped playing whatsoever, I'll try my luck with SpA community.

It's simple, all you need to do is have a legal/illegal copy of the said game and download hamachi (software emulating LAN on UDP/IPX if I'm not mistaken). Once you install it all, join the existing network:

network name: Palkersik
password: diablo2

Don't bash me for trying :P

Started playing again a few weeks back but I got bored of it again after my Hammerdin started owning everything :P I have played it to death.

lim + some other folks were into multiplayer emulators a couple of summers back, i don't think that it really took off though. not sure precisely what software they were using.

edit: ah, just noticed that this is specifically for diablo. as you were then.

I've gotten pretty into Diablo II over the past few weeks (blame Wankin)

As long as you have your cd-key you can register it with a battle.net account, download the installer there and patch it up to 1.12/1.13 which remove the need for a cd.
