I think you missed the true story here, Fehzor. The story is that Notch FINALLY asked someone for help instead of running a one man show AND, what do you know, the results were positive. He should have started WAAAAAY back, perhaps when designing some of Minecraft basics.

It's great that he asked for help this time, but do you really think LOLNOTCH will do it more often now? Chances are this was more or less a exception that his coding genius couldn't tackle and he'll go straight back to the one man show.

So none of them are actually tied to programming Minecraft and its thus still very much a one-man-show.

So, time to open a new chapter in the LOLNotch epic.

As we all know Minecraft just entered "Beta", which seems to be mainly defined by a price raise, name change and throwable eggs. ;-)

Undocumented features include bugs that I found within like 30 seconds of launching the server:

Chunks aren't properly lighted, items dupe, consuming inventory items crashes clients, connections are dropped repeatedly and best part of all for MacOSX users - the client crashes on startup BUT Notch won't fix this until tomorrow, since he released a buggy piece of shit patch again and just... went home... Ha, ha, ha!

This proves that he doesn't do ANY kind of bug testing whatsoever AND that he doesn't have a clue how to handle a release schedule properly. Mind you, he has been working on this patch for like a month...
