I'm not sure the correct way to request/apply for a world on freebuild, but I was told to post on here, so here goes...

I've been working on a bunch of builds for a while of what I guess I'll call "deconstructed houses".
It's kind of hard to explain what they are, but the attached picture should clarify what they are.

I would like to request a small world (I don't have an idea of dimensions) so I can continue to add to these.
I already have a couple more ideas I'd like to build, but there is no room left for me to build.

I dont think a whole world is necessary for this, what you got there on the member worlds is fine.

The reason I'm requesting a world is that I've run out of room on the member world.
It would actually be alright if someone were to just move them to another world with more space,
but I know you're not supposed to move completed builds, and I want to keep them all together.
I also asked because eventually I would run out of room again, and then I'd be back to where I am now.

No one is holding you back from moving a build to another world, EXCEPT MAIN. Eventually there will be a period of time when you will feel this is boring and un original, so you move onto another build idea.

Well if you could help me move it all I would really appreciate it (it's 590400 blocks and I can only copy 32768...).
I marked the corners with red blocks (one in the top/back/left corner and one in the lower/front/right corner (underground)).

As for losing interest in the build, I do understand what you mean.
Actually, besides it being pretty fun to come up with new ideas for it, that is one of the reasons I'm doing it the way I am.
Because each house is it's own build, I can do a house in one sitting and then give it a break (that's what I've been doing).
I generally don't like to do huge builds because I can be very OCD and I get overwhelmed,
but because I can stop without leaving anything largely unfinished it would actually work for me.

cdferg said he wants to do a city that's been hit by an earthquake if that's what you were thinking about.
Before I posted the request I was actually talking to him about working together on that.

Next time he's on I'll tell him to go on here and post and maybe we can work something out.

To be honest I'm not all against project-oriented worlds as long as:

a) You are certain that the project in question will fill the whole world
b) You can assemble a "team" of like-minded builders who would contribute

The thing with totally private worlds is that they use a lot of resources for just one player, since they have to be loaded into memory. Each next player hardly increases that at all. And if we were to start giving out private worlds everybody would want one, which would be a disaster. :-P

That's definitely understandable.
cd's not on right now so I don't know how he would feel about it,
but is making a shared world for both projects an option?
We've already talked about working together, and our ideas are pretty similar,
so it would make enough sense to put them together.

Also, anyone interested can can join in as long as they're on the same page as us.

Would like to see private maps bought using SpA points 200 for 256x256, 300 for 512x512 etc.

Tell you what dublr_nigr, if cdferg is sitll up for the project, and you allow people to pitch in, I'll make the map, just let me know the sizes, and themes you want.

Only because I was gone for a short while...there were a couple others (can't remember who) that were supposed to finish it in my absence. I'm back now and I plan to finish it as soon as I get my WOM fixed :cry:

Alright, I talked to cdferg, and we think the dimensions should be 256 x 400.
I guess it will be called apocalypse.

(400 is not a dimension, after 256 the next is 512)
