the server has "craftbook" and we are not using it to its full potential, the cauldron mod as part of craftbook only has one recipe, which is the default one for grass. I think that we should add more (the tutorial to add recipes is on the craftbook wiki) This is not only a request for more recipes but also a a request for ideas for potential recipes, i have a few: -some way to make a sponge, perhaps with stone and dirt -a way to make leaves -perhaps an easy non resource costly way to make iron, gold, diamond, etc. (at least iron because it is in the most demand) its worth a try ![]() -sense we cant grow anything that multiplies ( both of the flowers, both of the mushrooms & pumpkins) perhaps a way to make those - mossy coble - mob spawner also worth a try ![]() please to not post recipies unless you know what a cauldron is & how to use it, i also hope that they are relatively simple If you do go through with this and make the recipes please post them somewhere ![]() |

Actually, we try to run a mostly vanilla server in terms of crafting and items with craftbook just working for certain things (elevators, gates, etc). This keeps the economy from getting too crazy and keeps stuff in mostly sane boundaries (i.e. no giant buildings out of weird resources). We do, however, have plugins for stuff like clay, and I'd imagine we could branch that out to flowers, mushrooms, pumpkins, etc, as well as a limited /kit system for getting limited-amount resources. |

ya, at the very least I would like a way to make the plants & perhaps the sponges, i am very happy with the system of kits and thats why i left out things like ice, string, light stone, etc. but i would be very happy if you were to add limited resources such as iron, gold & diamond to he kits... |

Craftbook is in the process of being updated for Bukkit. We could not use craftbook to its full potential because it was just plain and simply fucked with the hmod version we were using. This is a good idea for when it comes back and one that was talked about previously. It would be another solution to rare blocks such as clay, lapiz lawhatever it is, etc. Note that Sponge has never been functional on survival and has since been removed. It could also be a means of converting highly sought after and expensive blocks for mob drops for those to scared to obtain them from the mobs. |

nahhh I don't think cauldrons are really needed.... Sponge is usually ugly and Iron.. well... It's as common as fuck underground. |

Nah, I don't think we'll be implementing cauldrons any further. The grass recipe is just there as a test case anyway. |

Hafnium give us red and yellow flower recepies! Those things will be rare as fuck soon enough, unless we WorldEdit spam them everywhere. |

LMAO You should make some recipes that don't make any sense... and then don't tell anyone about them. Just let us play with everything, until we end up finding one out... Pumpkin + Obsidian + steel door = string Minecart + wood pick = apple Stone + leaves = leather You get it... |

We need a poo block. Minecraft characters need to defecate. Ergo we will use cauldrons once we can turn everything into poo.

Lol, a dirt converter... all items simply become dirt when you put them in. |

Dirt's ok for scaffolding, but I prefer to use something like wood that isn't naturally occurring so I don't forget there's nothing beneath. |
