Well hello there.

What say SpA about a friendly Highlander match between two TF2 communities - SpecialAttack and TF2.LT?

Both teams would be made up entirely from community members' signups, according to their class preference.

It would be a two-map event with each community picking one of the maps to play on. Last time I did one of these, it was fun as heck.

I can guarantee you an opponent team, just need someone to organize things on this end.

Sounds like a good plan. What kind of playernumbers did you have in mind?

Then let us make it so.

Approximate date would be Sunday, March 7, about 3 PM GMT. Round up a team and tell me your map by then, and we're all set.

Our community consists purely of Lithuanians, and we are somewhat renowned for having shitty internet abroad.

I have pretty high ping to the SpA WC3 server(180), so I'm guessing others will have ping problems as well.

Could you check your ping to our Event server at 217.147.32.183:27071 ?

If it's within acceptable boundaries (<130), then we'd probably be better off doing this at our server. If it's just as crap as mine is to SpA servers, then we might have a problem here.

Heh, I used to know a Lithuanian called Mindy (spelling?) He was good people. And he kinda looked like Peter Stormare, which I found amusing. For anybody who doesn't know who that is, here's a handy dandy picture of him;

About 130ms from NL, quite acceptable

This will happen, if we find a pyro, and a possibly a backup for goud (because the match is on Sunday).
