if you've ever used the internet, then chances are you're on the database. and by on the database, that means it has a whole load of information on you - from phone numbers and onlines activity to photos and credit rating. a whole raft of stuff you wouldn't be too happy with people you didn't know getting your hands on. and all they need to access it is your email address, and a few-dollars-a-month account.
the thing is, they claim it's legit because all the information they find is publically available anyway on the likes of your facebook account. already I distrust that, having found some information which is definately set to private being recorded. also, they claim that records are only kept for people over 18 years old - explain why I'm on there then? even if this is fair play, it's still pretty creepy, even unethical, that your personal info (some of which I'm certain was actually set to be private) is being basically sold over the internet?
and it's not like we Europeans can remove it either; it's easy enough to do if you live in the USA, you can put in your real name, go to the privacy page and have it removed. outwith the USA, the only advice given is to make all of your information on social networking sites private. and even then, they will still manage to get ahold of it, most likely because it's been passed on by a third party.
I mean, common decency basically dictates that this site should be brought down : /
