i was sceptical at first, because when the vast majority start going on about something and saying how good it is, they are normally wrong and idiots, but i was pleasantly surprised and f*ckin loved it, it was awesome! I never read the comics, but now i think ill have to check them out too. cant believe that guy is from high wycombe, its such a shit hole and he is so lucky to be out of it!

Was a little dissapointed to be honest.

I bloody loved it, I didn't know what to expect... well I thought it was going to be a bit like Superbad and I'm so glad it wasn't.

It was a good movie but too bad they didn't stick to the original story from the comics ,they changed it quite a bit in some places . And the sequel is already planned : "Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall, will begin production in 2011 for a 2012 theatrical release."

I don't even know what it is but the name sounds like a incredibly generic action movie.

It was entertaining, but it wasn't a good movie.
It looked like they tried to make a 50/50 comedy/drama and horribly failed in that. With Kick Ass they should've chosen for a full blown comedy with maybe a hint of drama, not failing horribly at trying to make it a balanced 50/50 drama/comedy.
Defendor, which was released before Kick Ass, has to start off with, a propper actor, namely Woody Harrelson.
Defendor is a drama with a hint of comedy. If you ask me, Kick Ass got hollywood hyped in a terrible expensive promotion campaign and they produced at most a C movie. Defendor, didn't got promoted like Kick Ass and they did what Kick Ass was supposed to do and they produced a fokkin good A movie!

Check the movie out, I wonder if anyone would think Kick Ass to be a better movie then Defendor.

yeah i loved defendor, good film - apart from the annoying druggy girl - but still enjoyed kickass, not the most polished movie but still gotta love cage and the little lady ^^

Tbh, in some movies, I think Cage's acting is as good (or bad) as Steven Seagal's acting and this was definately one of them.
Don't get me wrong, Cage has his moments. Loved him in Con air and The Rock. So he has the ability to make a propper movie. Steven Seagal's acting is always poorer then poor I liked the characters, a lot, the little girl was awesome. Big Daddy is an awesome character, but in my opinion Cage seriously fucked this character up.
