Steam support mostly replies within 24-48 hours.

Yes I've got my steam account back now... Phew. You have no idea how upset I was yesterday. So when you see me online it's really me.... or is it?

And I would just like to apologise to those that received spam messages from me yesterday. Expect to receive real spam from me now on :5:

:4 Its always nasty when something gets nicked like that. Glad its sorted my advice:

Verify it to your new email, don't log into that email anywhere other than at home, and change the password on the email account and steam every couple of weeks or so.

1. Right-click on the Steam icon in the System Tray and select Settings or press the Settings button in Steam's File menu.
2. Click on the Verify email address button.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. You should then receive an email message from Steam Support.
5. Click the unique link provided in this email message to finish verifying your email address. The web page which then launches will confirm your success.

It was staring at me in the face and I still didn't see it until I read the instructions in steam support doh!

The moment has passed, you'll have to just hope that another opportunity manifests itself somewhere down the line.

Basically you got phished. It's a fake website with a log in box that sends whatever you type into the fake "username" and "password" gets sent to his passwords.txt on his file host, then he can log in and change the password. If you remember the link I can try to find his passwords file and delete it.

PS. ^ This is basic .php, the easiest form of "hacking" after reverse engineering.

Are you the scammer? Cause if not, what are you on about?

"passwords.txt on his file host"
How do you know he writes the form data to a text file? And why would he?

"I can try to find his passwords file and delete it"
I'm guessing this is where your ".php" reverse engineering skills come in? :ugly:

I doubt you'd be able to pull such a feat off, considering you think ".php" has anything to do with reverse engineering.

Sweet Jesus. What's with the triple posting here, dawg!?

You should go reverse engineer yourself a clue!

Now get back to the Minecraft section where you belong. :50
