Seeing as shit is going down I doubt there will be much objection about posting this.

Alright here is what I know is going to be changed. Nothing of this is definitive since Lim and Fragmer have been pretty secretive about it.

The new ranks: Promotions will now be based on several statistics, including ingametime and kickcount, which means that promotions are now handled by the server itself. Asking for a promotion is therefore even more USELESS then before. It is my guess that ONLY Trustees will be able to manually promote players. This means that all promotions will be truly objective and should this should in turn reduce the DRAMA.

The entire player database will be checked against these guidelines and people will be demoted/promoted to their respective new rank.

There will be a "Community Manager". See this person as a second Lim. Anything he/she says is final. Who this will be, I dont know, but it wont be me on my own request.

And the wiki is being rebooted but you guys knew that already

Is a time-out system being implemented for non-guests as well? I know that some people could milk their time by standing in a corner and not moving, going to bed, and waking up a week later as a supop

I honestly dont know. Previous demotions will most likely be part of the autopromotion-rules so dont count on it.

I think for be promoted automatically, you need to have a certain number of created and deleted blocks, kicks, bans, wipes, play-time.

Will be lame if someone will be promoted just for the play-time.

Veteran is under ops? Just sounds like mod mixed with arch to me. Though vetaran is pretty heavy sounding, at first I thought it was a rank where all the oldies can get together and brag how good the old days were, and reminiss over all the fun we missed :p

As I said TheMastBoss, there are several factors that decide whether someone is promoted or not. Which factors these are will (I think) be kept secret to avoid "statfarming".

Think of Veteran as your good old AdvBuilder.

Also we'll be back to your regular dose of OMGWTF within 20~30 minutes.
